Hello everyone!
Yesterday was my birthday ... And if I didn't particularly party at home (if it was not a quiet and lovely evening with my beloved wife), it would seem that on DeviantArt and Tumblr, the party was particularly huge !!
Between the hundred or so lovely messages I received to wish me a happy birthday, and the magnificent gifts I received ... You have all contributed to make this day truly special. I had never experienced such a thing.
I feel flattered, honored, to the point where I don't even know what to say to make you understand how happy and lucky I am to have such nice, generous and adorable people around me.
Every day that I spend in this fandom makes me meet more incredible people, and I think I like Zootopia every day a little more, because this movie has brought so many magical and incredible things in my life. .. This one will never be the same again thanks to this. Thanks to you.

You know, for several months, happened full of strange stuff and not necessarily funny things in my life... Money problems, health problems (psychological for me, physical for my wife), the build of a house that would have been hell from the beginning to the end (a hell of more than two years ... it's enough to destroy anyone's morale). But you know what? Every day I connect to DA, Tumblr, FurAffinity, Fanfiction.net, Wattpad, Discord ... And every day it has the same effect on me: in spite of everything else, it brings a smile to my face and i'm feeling full of motivation. I owe you a lot. Much more than you can imagine. And beyond all these lovely messages and beautiful drawings, this is the real gift you give me.

I have to admit i was very suprised these last weeks to see there was definitly still a good bunch of activity on DeviantArt. I thought that Eclipse would have... eclipsed... everyone in a few time, but it seems i was wrong. Even if i still can't stand this new design and how the site is working now, i'm trying more and more to surpass my disgust to interact again with you in the comments section, and i wanted to thank you for still being here, presents, supportive, with your likes and comments. I'm deeply touched. It's also a good occasion for me to remind you that i have a patreon page, on which you can support me if you want, to help me to live of my passion : drawing and writing stories (through comics). Being a freelance artist is really hard. Convincing people to trust you enough to donate and help supporting you financially is also very hard. Making a living of it and being able to have a somewhat comfortable life is EXTREMLY hard. Some months are better than other, sure, but

At the end of May, if DeviantArt still decide to make Eclipse mandatory and impose it on us, i will leave the website. I will not close my page, but I will not update it anymore, and don't post new arts on it.
Don't think it's an easy thing to do for me. I've met the love of my life on this website. I've grown up as an artist and become known thanks to this website. I've build my community on this website.
